Per its own current fee brochure, a $500,000 account would run up to $5,000 a year (the published maximum, which the firm says is negotiable) under its published fee schedule. Already a client and thinking about leaving? Budget $50 at Schwab, or $75 at Betterment Securities, depending on your custodian. This review covers what its own fee brochure and current SEC registration confirm today; this firm also has a fiduciary-status page and minimum-investment page on this site.

What NovaPoint Capital’s own fee schedule charges
CRD 173663 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered via a live IAPD lookup performed this session. NovaPoint’s own brochure states $536,175,160 in Regulatory Assets Under Management as of December 31, 2025. The priced fee is the firm’s single published investment-management rate, which applies uniformly to its individual, high-net-worth, and institutional advisory clients; NovaPoint also does business as Cobalt Advisory Network LLC per its current IAPD registration.
“The annual fee for investment management services is 1% of assets under management. Fees are calculated on an average daily value and billed monthly in arrears. Certain accounts are billed quarterly in arrears using the same methodology. Fees are negotiable.”
NovaPoint publishes a single flat annual rate of 1% of assets under management, so each balance is simply priced at that rate. No minimum annual dollar fee is disclosed in the brochure, so no floor applies at any of the balances shown.
| Account balance | Annual fee |
|---|---|
| $250,000 | $2,500 |
| $500,000 | $5,000 |
| $1,000,000 | $10,000 |
| $2,000,000 | $20,000 |

Registration
NovaPoint Capital LLC is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #173663, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD).
This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity). For the fiduciary-standard question itself, see the fiduciary-status page for NovaPoint Capital.
What it costs to leave
NovaPoint Capital LLC’s Form ADV Part 2A states “Advisory fees are generally paid in arrears.” NovaPoint Capital LLC names three possible custodians in its brochure, with no single default. Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.’s own published fee schedule states “Full transfer (out) of assets: $50 per account.” Betterment Securities (the broker-dealer underlying Betterment Advisor Solutions)’s own published fee schedule states “Betterment Securities charges a flat fee of $75 for each investing account transfer to another company (outbound transfer).” Comerica Bank discloses no comparable line item (an honest gap).
The full steps are on our how to leave NovaPoint Capital page; the general mechanics of switching financial advisors and a dated termination letter apply regardless of firm.

Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, drawing directly on NovaPoint Capital’s own current fee brochure, cited in Sources below, and a fresh SEC IAPD registration check run the same day. As of September 28, 2026, this site publishes a fiduciary-status page and a minimum-investment page for NovaPoint Capital; where the exit-fee facts above are cited, they were independently verified against the same primary source. Any fact we could not independently confirm is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified. Nothing here is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading NovaPoint Capital’s own Form ADV Part 2A and Form CRS.
