The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A, Appendix 1 (Wrap Fee Program Brochure) (March 23, 2026): “Our annual program fee is based on a percentage of the assets under management, according to the schedule below: Assets Under Management Annual Wrap Fee Up to $5,000 1.00% Over $5,000 0.25% This is a blended tier fee schedule, which means that different fees are applied to the different levels of assets under management.”
Note: CRD 310129 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered through a live SEC IAPD lookup on September 28, 2026. The registrant is Carbon Collective Investing, LLC, the same name the firm markets under. The brochure reports approximately $353,169,856 in assets managed on a discretionary basis as of December 31, 2025. The priced schedule is the Personal Wrap Fee Program for individuals and high-net-worth individuals investing through the firm’s website; the separate Employer program for 401(k) and 403(b) plans is charged differently and is not priced here.
- $0-$5,000: 1.00%
- $5,001 and above: 0.25%
The annual wrap fee covers custody, brokerage and investment management charges, so no separate advisory fee is added for the Personal program. Costs the wrap fee does not cover are paid separately, including charges imposed directly by a mutual fund or exchange-traded fund, margin costs, deferred sales charges, transfer taxes and wire transfer fees. The firm’s own climate ETFs carry fund expenses that clients bear indirectly in addition to the wrap fee, and the firm separately receives a 0.02% sub-advisory fee from those funds. The brochure says legacy clients may have a different schedule and that fees are generally not negotiable.
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $663 | 0.27% |
| $500,000 | $1,288 | 0.26% |
| $1,000,000 | $2,538 | 0.25% |
| $2,000,000 | $5,038 | 0.25% |
The brochure calls this a blended tier schedule, so each rate applies only to the slice of the balance inside its band: 1.00% on the first $5,000 and 0.25% on everything above. At every balance shown, the first $5,000 costs $50 and the remainder is charged at 0.25%. Each result lands on a half dollar and is rounded up to the next whole dollar. The brochure discloses no minimum annual fee for this schedule; the only minimum it mentions is $100,000 for custom portfolios of individual securities.
