Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: The Wealth Consulting Group’s brochure states the firm has no firm-wide minimum account value, but nearly every specific advisory program it offers sets its own minimum, ranging from $1,000 (an LPL model program requiring systematic contributions) up to $500,000 (WCG’s own house model portfolios); these program-level minimums can be waived by WCG, the local office, or the custodian.
The minimum, in the firm’s own words
“WCG generally does not have a required minimum account value, but certain programs/WCG portfolio models have required minimums. Please refer to the programs below for the account minimums.”
On waivability: “There are minimum account size requirements for some WCG Advisory services offered through WCG or established and the individual IARs that are affiliated with WCG. In addition, there can be a minimum account size requirement established by the particular program. These minimum account size requirements can be waived by WCG, office, or custodian if possible.”

|---|---|---|---|
| WCG advisory programs (varies by platform) | No firm-wide minimum; varies by program ($1,000-$500,000) | Varies with account size | Waivable by WCG, office, or custodian |

The Wealth Consulting Group’s own fee schedule at other balances
| Account balance | Annual fee |
|---|---|
| $250,000 | $6,250 |
| $500,000 | $12,500 |
| $1,000,000 | $25,000 |
| $2,000,000 | $50,000 |
What else to know
WCG is a hybrid RIA whose individual advisors operate across many LPL-, Schwab-, and Fidelity-sponsored platforms rather than one flagship program; disclosed program minimums include LPL Personal Wealth Portfolios ($250,000), LPL Manager Access Network ($100,000), Schwab Managed Account Access (typically $100,000), and WCG’s own house Model Portfolios ($15,000-$500,000 depending on the model).
What a larger account would cost
The minimum is only the entry point. On a $500,000 account, The Wealth Consulting Group’s own published fee schedule runs up to $12,500 a year (the published maximum); see the full dollar breakdown from The Wealth Consulting Group’s own fee disclosure across several account sizes.

How our partner relationships workCompare an adviser match before you decide
Ask about the full fee, what it covers and how the adviser is paid. A match is an introduction, not a recommendation from Clear Money Guide.
- Free matching service
- No obligation to hire
The matching service is run by WiserAdvisor, an independent advisor-matching company. It opens on their site, asks for your ZIP code and a few questions, and matches you with 2 to 3 vetted advisors. It is free to you. WiserAdvisor states the service is built for portfolios of $250,000 and above. By submitting, you consent to emails, phone calls and text messages from WiserAdvisor and up to three advisors, so expect to be contacted. Advisers pay for the introduction. Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, quoting directly from The Wealth Consulting Group’s own current Form ADV Part 2A / wrap-fee brochure, with the source linked above. The annual-fee-at-the-minimum figure applies that same brochure’s own published fee schedule to the disclosed minimum dollar amount; any distinction we could not independently confirm this session is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified.
