Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: The Wealth Consulting Group discloses a maximum, individually negotiated rate of 2.5% in its Form ADV Part 2A (March 31, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $12,500 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.

The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A (March 31, 2026): “At no time will the Management Fee assessed by WCG exceed 2.5% of the gross assets under management (valued at fair market value).”
Note: CRD 173194 is ACTIVE and SEC-registered (Approved 10/1/2014), confirmed live via IAPD on 2026-09-28. The brochure dated March 31, 2026 states discretionary AUM of $6,276,683,993 (about $6.28 billion) as of December 31, 2025. WCG discloses minimum account size requirements that vary by program but no separate dollar minimum annual fee for the core advisory fee.
The published maximum: 2.5% per year (Clients enrolled in certain LPL third-party sponsored advisory platforms pay an all-in maximum that already bundles the WCG advisor fee with LPL’s program or strategist fee and can run higher than the general 2.5% ceiling: up to 2.95% for the MWP, PWP, MAS, and MAN platforms, 2.50% for OMP, and 1.35% for GWP.).
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $6,250 | 2.50% |
| $500,000 | $12,500 | 2.50% |
| $1,000,000 | $25,000 | 2.50% |
| $2,000,000 | $50,000 | 2.50% |
WCG’s Item 5 states a single firm-wide ceiling on its own advisory fee, capped at 2.5% of gross AUM, so the figures below price a new client at that maximum for a standard, non-platform advisory account.
How this compares
Our benchmark of published adviser fee schedules puts the weighted median annual cost near $2,000 to $2,500 on $250,000 (the benchmark). At $500,000, The Wealth Consulting Group’s own published maximum rate runs up to $12,500 a year.
