Wahed Invest Review (2026): Fees and SEC Registration

Guides › Financial Advisor Fees

Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Wahed Invest is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #242793, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD). Per its own current fee brochure, a $500,000 account would run $2,450 a year under its published fee schedule. This review covers what its own fee brochure and current SEC registration confirm today; it does not assess fiduciary status or account minimums.

What Wahed Invest’s own fee schedule charges

The registrant is listed with the SEC as Wahed and also files as Wahed Invest LLC, an automated digital investment adviser. The priced figure is the wrap program fee for individual clients, whom the brochure says it serves through its website and mobile app.

“Fees may be negotiable. Other than as described above, Wahed does not allow clients to prepay fees. Wrap Fee Schedule Assets under mgmt. per annum Wahed Percentage Fee Wahed Fixed Fee $100-$99,999 .49% $60”

Each balance is priced at the flat 0.49% program fee applied to the whole account, since the brochure lists the same percentage for every balance from $100 upward. Fees are calculated on the household total under one Social Security or Employer Identification Number. The brochure discloses no minimum annual dollar fee beyond the $60 fixed fee for balances under $100,000, so no floor applies at these balances. The brochure says fees may be negotiable, and the figures are the published rate, not a guaranteed charge.

The table below is the firm’s own advisory fee schedule. Fund expenses, custodian charges and any third-party manager or platform fees are generally separate from an advisory fee like this one; Item 5 of the brochure lists what applies to a given account.

Account balanceAnnual fee
$250,000$1,225
$500,000$2,450
$1,000,000$4,900
$2,000,000$9,800

These figures come directly from Wahed Invest’s own current fee brochure, cited in Sources below.

Registration

Wahed Invest LLC is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #242793, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD).

This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity).

What it costs to leave

We did not find a firm-specific dollar figure for leaving Wahed Invest in its brochure or in its custodian’s published schedules, so we are not stating one. The general mechanics of switching financial advisors and a dated termination letter apply regardless of firm.

Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, drawing directly on Wahed Invest’s own current fee brochure, cited in Sources below, and a fresh SEC IAPD registration check run the same day. Where exit-fee facts are cited, they trace to the named custodian’s own published schedule. Any fact we could not independently confirm is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified. Nothing here is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading Wahed Invest’s own Form ADV Part 2A and Form CRS.
