Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Foster Group discloses a whole-balance breakpoint schedule starting at 0.90% in its Form ADV Part 2A (March 25, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $4,500 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A (March 25, 2026): “CoreWealth clients are subject to an annual asset-based fee based as follows: … Advisor divides the annual fee by four and clients are charged each quarter, in advance. Clients are subject to a minimum quarterly fee of $600. … Annual Fee 0.90%”
Note: CRD 107148 independently re-verified ACTIVE/isSECRegistered=Y, SEC-approved since 5/30/1991. Foster Group managed $4,775,514,804 combined discretionary/non-discretionary assets. The brochure offers three client-selectable individual service tiers (CoreWealth, SignatureWealth, SelectWealth) plus an Institutional tier, with no AUM-based assignment rule; CoreWealth is described as the offering designed for clients with fewer assets and less complex financial situations, so it is used here as the representative default for the $250,000-$2,000,000 benchmark range.
- All CoreWealth assets under management: 0.90%
Minimum annual fee: $2,400.
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $2,400 | 0.96% |
| $500,000 | $4,500 | 0.90% |
| $1,000,000 | $9,000 | 0.90% |
| $2,000,000 | $18,000 | 0.90% |
Foster Group’s CoreWealth fee is a flat 0.90% of assets under management, billed quarterly, subject to a $600-per-quarter ($2,400 annual) minimum fee; each benchmark balance is multiplied by 0.90% and then floored at $2,400 whenever that product falls short of it, which is why the $250,000 balance shows the $2,400 minimum rather than the raw 0.90% figure.
How this compares
Our benchmark of published adviser fee schedules puts the weighted median annual cost near $2,000 to $2,500 on $250,000 (the benchmark). At $500,000, Foster Group’s own published rate runs $4,500 a year.
