Beese Fulmer Minimum Investment (2026): What It Takes to Open an Account

Guides › Financial Advisor Fees

Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: $500,000 for general investment management accounts. Beese Fulmer’s own Form ADV Part 2A brochure states this figure directly, though the firm can waive or reduce it at its own discretion. At that minimum, Beese Fulmer’s own published fee schedule works out to $7,500 a year.

The minimum, in the firm’s own words

“The minimum account size is typically $500,000 with a minimum fee of $5,000. If an account’s value falls below $500,000, the annual fee would be $5,000.”

On waivability: “BFIM, at its sole discretion, may waive its minimum fee and/or charge a lesser investment advisory fee based upon certain criteria including, but not limited to, historical relationship, anticipated future earning capacity, and anticipated future additional assets.”

What else to know

If the account’s value falls below the $500,000 minimum, the firm’s brochure states the annual fee defaults to a flat $5,000 rather than the percentage schedule.

What a larger account would cost

The minimum is only the entry point. On a $500,000 account, Beese Fulmer’s own Form ADV Part 2A (July 2, 2026) works out to $7,500 a year under its published fee schedule.
