Allstate Financial Advisors Minimum Investment (2026): What It Takes to Open an Account

Guides › Financial Advisor Fees

Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: $50,000 for AFA’s FMAX advisory programs (offered via Fidelity’s FMAX wrap platform). Allstate Financial Advisors’ own Form ADV Part 2A brochure states this figure directly, and the brochure does not offer a general waiver for it. At that minimum, Allstate Financial Advisors’ own published fee schedule works out to $750 a year.

The minimum, in the firm’s own words

“Account opening minimums for advisory programs start at $50,000.”

$500,000$6,750
$1,000,000$12,500
$2,000,000$23,000

What else to know

The brochure’s fee tables show tiers beginning at $0, but those are asset breakpoints used to calculate the advisory fee rate, not the account-opening minimum; the account-opening minimum is stated separately, in Item 7, as $50,000. No waiver provision for this minimum is disclosed.

What a larger account would cost

The minimum is only the entry point. On a $500,000 account, Allstate Financial Advisors’ own Form ADV Part 2A (March 29, 2026) works out to $6,750 a year under its published fee schedule.

Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, quoting directly from Allstate Financial Advisors’ own current Form ADV Part 2A / wrap-fee brochure, with the source linked above. The annual-fee-at-the-minimum figure applies that same brochure’s own published fee schedule to the disclosed minimum dollar amount; any distinction we could not independently confirm this session is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified. Nothing here is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the firm’s own Form ADV Part 2A.
