Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Balentine discloses a tiered schedule starting at 1.25% in its Part 2A of Form ADV (Firm Brochure) (August 25, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $6,250 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
The published numbers
From the Part 2A of Form ADV (Firm Brochure) (August 25, 2026): “In certain circumstances, Balentine may, in its sole discretion, consider clients below $5,000,000 as follows: Assets Fee Schedule First $2.5 Million 1.25% Next $2.5 Million 0.75%”
Note: Balentine’s headline ‘General Fee Schedule’ (First $5M @ 1.00% down to 0.15% over $250M) does not apply to the four target balances because Balentine’s stated account minimum for actively managed assets is $5,000,000; the document provides a separate below-minimum accommodation schedule (First $2.5M @ 1.25%, Next $2.5M @ 0.75%), used here since it is the schedule that actually applies at $250k-$2M.
- First $2.5 Million: 1.25%
- Next $2.5 Million: 0.75%
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $3,125 | 1.25% |
| $500,000 | $6,250 | 1.25% |
| $1,000,000 | $12,500 | 1.25% |
| $2,000,000 | $25,000 | 1.25% |
Balentine’s headline ‘General Fee Schedule’ (1.00% first $5,000,000) is gated behind the firm’s stated $5,000,000 account minimum for actively managed assets; all four benchmark balances fall below that minimum. The brochure provides a separate, explicit below-minimum accommodation schedule (First $2,500,000 at 1.25%, marginal) for clients Balentine agrees to serve below $5,000,000 ‘in its sole discretion,’ which is the schedule priced here since it is the one that actually applies at these balances. No dollar minimum fee is stated for this sub-minimum schedule.
How this compares
Our benchmark of published adviser fee schedules puts the weighted median annual cost near $2,000 to $2,500 on $250,000 (the benchmark). At $500,000, Balentine’s own published rate runs $6,250 a year.
