Savant Wealth Management Minimum Investment (2026): What It Takes to Open an Account

Guides › Financial Advisor Fees

Updated September 18, 2026. Quick answer: $300,000 for Investment Management. Savant Wealth Management’s own Form ADV Part 2A brochure states this figure directly, though the firm can waive or reduce it at its own discretion. At that minimum, Savant Wealth Management’s own published fee schedule works out to $4,500 a year.

The minimum, in the firm’s own words

“We typically require at least $300,000 to open an investment portfolio.”

On waivability: “Savant retains the right to waive its account minimum and/or annual minimum fee, or charge a lesser investment management fee, based upon certain criteria (i.e. anticipated future earning capacity, anticipated future additional assets, dollar amount of assets to be managed, related accounts, account composition, negotiations with client, etc.).”

$300,000 at Savant’s disclosed 1.50% ceiling (the top of its published 0.50% to 1.50% range): $300,000 x 1.50% = $4,500.

$500,000$7,500

$2,000,000$30,000

What else to know

Savant states this $300,000 figure as a general, firm-wide condition to open an investment portfolio. Its Comprehensive Wealth Management fee paragraph (covering the 0.50% to 1.50% range used on this page) does not itself repeat a dollar figure.

What a larger account would cost

The minimum is only the entry point. On a $500,000 account, Savant Wealth Management’s own published fee schedule runs up to $7,500 a year (the published maximum); see the full dollar breakdown from Savant Wealth Management’s own fee disclosure across several account sizes.
