Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 23, 2026. Quick answer: The Wrap Fee Brochure (Form ADV Part 2A, Appendix 1) (March 31, 2026) from Rockefeller Capital Management caps the Rockefeller Fee at 2.00% a year and adds two mandatory asset-based fees of 0.035% each, which combine to a maximum of 2.07%. Converted to dollars, that runs $10,350 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
The published numbers
From the Wrap Fee Brochure (Form ADV Part 2A, Appendix 1) (March 31, 2026): “The maximum Rockefeller Fee per account is 2.00% annually of the AUM in the account. The Relationship Fee is a 0.035% (3.5 bps) annual asset-based fee and will be charged quarterly in arrears based on the closing market value of the assets in each advisory account on the last business day of the billing quarter. The Platform Fee is a 0.035% (3.5 bps) annual asset-based fee and will be charged quarterly in arrears.”
The published maximum: 2.07% per year (Rockefeller Private Wealth Advisory (RPWA) Program, the firm’s flagship wrap fee wealth management program: the Rockefeller Fee (the AUM-based investment advisory fee) is capped at a maximum of 2.00% of assets under management, and nearly all RPWA accounts also carry a mandatory Relationship Fee of 0.035% and a mandatory Platform Fee of 0.035% (both waived only on household assets above $75 million), for a combined maximum of 2.07%. Separate third-party Investment Manager Fees of 0.00% to 1.02% of AUM can also apply on top of this if a client selects a non-proprietary sub-manager or strategy; those are excluded here because they are optional and manager-specific rather than a firm-wide schedule.).
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $5,175 | 2.07% |
| $500,000 | $10,350 | 2.07% |
| $1,000,000 | $20,700 | 2.07% |
| $2,000,000 | $41,400 | 2.07% |
Rockefeller does not publish a dollar-breakpoint tiered schedule for its flagship RPWA wrap program; instead it discloses a maximum Rockefeller Fee of 2.00% of AUM plus two additional mandatory asset-based fees, a 0.035% Relationship Fee and a 0.035% Platform Fee, both of which apply to virtually all RPWA accounts up to $75 million in household assets. I summed these three disclosed maximums to a combined ceiling of 2.07% and multiplied each balance by 0.0207 (for example, 250000 x 0.0207 = 5175) to get dollar_at.
How this compares
Our benchmark of published adviser fee schedules puts the weighted median annual cost near $2,000 to $2,500 on $250,000 (the benchmark). At $500,000, Rockefeller Capital Management’s own published rate components add up to a maximum of $10,350 a year.
