Legacy Financial Advisors Fees (2026): What You Pay in Dollars at $250k, $500k, $1M

Guides › Financial Advisor Fees

Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Legacy Financial Advisors discloses a maximum, individually negotiated rate of 1.5% in its Form ADV Part 2A (February 19, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $7,500 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.

The published numbers

From the Form ADV Part 2A (February 19, 2026): “The maximum annual advisory fee LFA charges its clients is 1.50%.”

Note: CRD 309156 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered through a live SEC IAPD lookup on September 28, 2026. The brochure names the registered adviser as Legacy Financial Advisors II, LLC, doing business as Legacy Financial Advisors, and IAPD lists the firm as Legacy Financial Advisors with the II, LLC name among its other names. Several similarly named advisers exist, and this is the SEC registered one in Saint Simons Island, Georgia. The firm reports about $139.2 million in regulatory assets under management. The priced figure is the maximum advisory fee for individual portfolio management clients.

The published maximum: 1.5% per year (The priced figure is the 1.50% maximum annual advisory fee on managed assets, which the brochure says is blended across the firm’s investment models according to how a client’s assets are distributed among them. Brokerage commissions, transaction and custodial charges, and the internal expenses of mutual funds, index funds and ETFs are not included in the firm’s fee and are paid by the client. If the firm directs a client to a third-party money manager, the brochure says the client may incur an additional amount charged by that manager, while also saying the firm pays third-party managers out of its own advisory fee, so a client should confirm which applies. A one-time financial plan is provided to portfolio management clients, and additional plans carry hourly fees of $100 to $350. None of those add-ons are in the figures below.).

What you would pay

Account balanceAnnual fee (dollars)Effective rate
$250,000$3,7501.50%
$500,000$7,5001.50%
$1,000,000$15,0001.50%
$2,000,000$30,0001.50%

Each balance is priced at the stated 1.50% maximum annual advisory fee applied to the whole managed balance. The brochure discloses no minimum annual dollar fee, so no floor applies. These are ceiling figures, not typical charges, since the actual fee is a blend across models and the brochure says lower fees may be negotiated.

How this compares
