Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Geneos Wealth Management discloses a maximum, individually negotiated rate of 2.5% in its Form ADV Part 2A, Appendix 1 (Wrap Fee Program Brochure) (March 26, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $12,500 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A, Appendix 1 (Wrap Fee Program Brochure) (March 26, 2026): “Typically, there is an annual fee that is negotiated between you and your representative up to 2.50%. Some portfolio strategists receive a portion of this fee ranging from 0.00%-0.70% depending on the model selected, this is also referred to as the model cost.”
Note: CRD 120894 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered through a live SEC IAPD lookup on September 28, 2026. The registrant is Geneos Wealth Management, Inc., a dual registrant (investment adviser and broker-dealer) based in Englewood, Colorado. It reports about $9.2 billion in regulatory assets under management. The priced figure is the stated maximum for its Axiom wrap program for individual clients. The firm’s main brochure gives a similar range of 0.00% to 2.50% for its VIP program without calling it a maximum, and adds a stated minimum account fee of 0.50%, so this ceiling is not a typical charge.
The published maximum: 2.5% per year (The priced figure is the 2.50% ceiling on the annual advisory fee in Geneos’s Axiom wrap program. The brochure describes the portfolio strategist’s model cost, never more than 0.70%, as a portion of that fee, but it also says the account is billed the representative’s fee plus the model cost, so the priced ceiling may not include it. Axiom’s program fee covers trading costs, but Fidelity accounts under $1 million in household assets that are not enrolled in electronic delivery can face trading cost surcharges, and fund expenses inside the portfolio are separate. None of those items are added to the figures below.).
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $6,250 | 2.50% |
| $500,000 | $12,500 | 2.50% |
| $1,000,000 | $25,000 | 2.50% |
| $2,000,000 | $50,000 | 2.50% |
Geneos publishes a negotiated fee of up to 2.50% of account assets for the Axiom wrap program rather than a tiered schedule, so each balance is priced at that ceiling. The brochure states its minimum account fee as a percentage, 0.50%, and discloses no minimum annual dollar fee, so no dollar floor applies. These are ceiling figures, not typical or negotiated charges.
