Financial Guidance Group Review (2026): Fees and SEC Registration

Guides › Financial Advisor Fees

Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Financial Guidance Group is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #108799, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD). Per its own current fee brochure, a $500,000 account would run $5,000 a year under its published fee schedule. This review covers what its own fee brochure and current SEC registration confirm today; it does not assess fiduciary status or account minimums.

What Financial Guidance Group’s own fee schedule charges

The registrant is Financial Guidance Group, Inc., which uses the same name as its marketing name. The priced schedule is the ongoing AUM fee for individual clients, and the brochure sets a general initial portfolio minimum of $500,000 for clients 40 and older and $250,000 for younger clients, so the $250,000 balance applies only to the younger group.

“Annual AUM Fee Quarterly AUM Fee 1.00% $0-$1,000,000 0.25% 0.80% from $1,000,001-$3,000,000 0.20% 0.60% from $3,000,001-$5,000,000 0.15% Fees are negotiable above $5,000,000”

Each balance is priced by stacking the bands, with 1.00% on the first $1,000,000 and 0.80% on the next $1,000,000 up to $3,000,000. The brochure does not say in so many words whether the bands stack, so this is the reading used. The brochure states that all clients are subject to a $625 minimum quarterly fee, which is $2,500 a year, and each figure is the greater of the calculated fee and that floor. At $250,000 the calculated fee equals the floor. The brochure notes the firm may negotiate special fee arrangements.

The table below is the firm’s own advisory fee schedule. Fund expenses, custodian charges and any third-party manager or platform fees are generally separate from an advisory fee like this one; Item 5 of the brochure lists what applies to a given account.

Account balanceAnnual fee
$250,000$2,500
$500,000$5,000
$1,000,000$10,000
$2,000,000$18,000

These figures come directly from Financial Guidance Group’s own current fee brochure, cited in Sources below.

Registration

Financial Guidance Group, Inc. is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #108799, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD).

This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity).

What it costs to leave

We did not find a firm-specific dollar figure for leaving Financial Guidance Group in its brochure or in its custodian’s published schedules, so we are not stating one. The general mechanics of switching financial advisors and a dated termination letter apply regardless of firm.

Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, drawing directly on Financial Guidance Group’s own current fee brochure, cited in Sources below, and a fresh SEC IAPD registration check run the same day. Where exit-fee facts are cited, they trace to the named custodian’s own published schedule. Any fact we could not independently confirm is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified. Nothing here is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading Financial Guidance Group’s own Form ADV Part 2A and Form CRS.
