Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 27, 2026. Quick answer: Coldstream Wealth Management discloses a maximum, individually negotiated rate of 1.0% in its Coldstream ADV Disclosure Brochure (Form ADV Part 2A) (March 30, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $10,000 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
The published numbers
From the Coldstream ADV Disclosure Brochure (Form ADV Part 2A) (March 30, 2026): “The current Coldstream standard fee schedule is as follows: The minimum management fee for private wealth management is $10,000. Minimum management fees for Family Office management is $150,000. The minimum may be waived at Coldstream’s discretion. Fees for investment management services are negotiable and range up to 1%, based on the size and complexity of the services required to manage the assets.”
Note: The CRD is registered under the legal name “Coldstream Capital Management, Inc.,” doing business as “Coldstream Wealth Management” (per the brochure’s own cover page). Coldstream separately states a $150,000 minimum management fee specifically for its Family Office service; this page cites the $10,000 minimum for its private wealth management clients instead, the firm’s general service.
The published maximum: 1.0% per year.
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $10,000 | 4.00% |
| $500,000 | $10,000 | 2.00% |
| $1,000,000 | $10,000 | 1.00% |
| $2,000,000 | $20,000 | 1.00% |
Coldstream’s brochure states fees for investment management services are negotiable and range up to 1%, with a $10,000 minimum management fee for private wealth management clients; each balance is priced at 1% of assets subject to that $10,000 floor: $10,000 / $10,000 / $10,000 / $20,000 (the 1% rate exceeds the $10,000 floor only at $2,000,000).
How this compares
Our benchmark of published adviser fee schedules puts the weighted median annual cost near $2,000 to $2,500 on $250,000 (the benchmark). At $500,000, Coldstream Wealth Management’s own published rate runs $10,000 a year.
