Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Clearstead Advisory Solutions discloses a tiered schedule starting at 1.00% in its Form ADV Part 2A (March 30, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $5,000 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A (March 30, 2026): “Equity/Balanced/Fixed Income Accounts • 1.00% on the first $5 million • .75% on the next $5 million • .50% above $10 million”
Note: CRD 105674 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered through a live SEC IAPD lookup on September 28, 2026. The registrant is Clearstead Advisors, LLC (doing business as Clearstead and Clearstead Advisory Solutions); the priced schedule comes from the brochure of its Clearstead Advisory Solutions division, which lists private clients (families and individuals) among its clients. The firm’s separate Private Client brochure does not publish a tiered schedule, stating only that most asset-based fees fall between 0.10% and 1.00% or are flat retainers, so this schedule should not be read as applying to every Clearstead client. The firm reports about $33.9 billion in regulatory assets under management.
- $0-$5,000,000: 1.00%
- $5,000,001-$10,000,000: 0.75%
- $10,000,001 and above: 0.50%
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $2,500 | 1.00% |
| $500,000 | $5,000 | 1.00% |
| $1,000,000 | $10,000 | 1.00% |
| $2,000,000 | $20,000 | 1.00% |
At each balance the whole amount sits inside the first tier, which runs up to $5 million at 1.00%, so the fee is simply that rate applied to the balance. The brochure discloses no minimum annual dollar fee, so no floor applies at any of the balances shown.
How this compares
