Updated September 18, 2026. Quick answer: Citi Personal Wealth Management discloses a maximum, individually negotiated rate of 2.0% in its Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Investment Advisory Programs (Form ADV Part 2A brochure covering Citi Private Bank, Citi Global Wealth at Work, and Citi Personal Wealth Management) (March 25, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $10,000 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
Citi Personal Wealth Management fee schedule 2026 (published maximum)
This schedule comes from the Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Investment Advisory Programs (Form ADV Part 2A brochure covering Citi Private Bank, Citi Global Wealth at Work, and Citi Personal Wealth Management), dated March 25, 2026, the same filing cited under Sources below.
From the Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Investment Advisory Programs (Form ADV Part 2A brochure covering Citi Private Bank, Citi Global Wealth at Work, and Citi Personal Wealth Management) (March 25, 2026): “We updated the standard fee schedule for the CGMI investment advisory programs described in this brochure. CGMI charges an annualized, fixed asset-based fee (“CGMI fee”) of up to 2% that is negotiable based on a number of factors. … CPWM clients are eligible to participate in the following Programs: Fiduciary Services Program, Consulting and Evaluation Services Program, Multi-Asset Class Solutions Program … Citi Advisor Program, Citi Portfolio Manager Program, Dynamic Allocation Portfolios – UMA Program, Model Allocations Portfolios Program.”
The published maximum: 2.0% per year.
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $5,000 | 2.00% |
| $500,000 | $10,000 | 2.00% |
| $1,000,000 | $20,000 | 2.00% |
| $2,000,000 | $40,000 | 2.00% |
CGMI discloses a single individually-negotiated maximum (‘up to 2%’) applied to the whole account balance across all of the CGMI advisory programs available to Citi Personal Wealth Management (CPWM) clients, with no fixed dollar minimum fee disclosed in this brochure. dollar_at = balance x 0.02 at each of the four balances (e.g., $500,000 x 0.02 = $10,000). CPWM’s flagship discretionary program, Fiduciary Services (FS), is the one CGMI’s own text says CPWM clients pay the highest CGMI fee rate for (relative to the private-bank/Wealth-at-Work equivalent MSP program), so 2.00% is not a theoretical edge case for this segment.
How this compares
Our benchmark of published adviser fee schedules puts the weighted median annual cost near $2,000 to $2,500 on $250,000 (the benchmark). At $500,000, Citi Personal Wealth Management’s own published maximum rate runs up to $10,000 a year.
