Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Choreo does not publish a minimum dollar amount to open an Investment Advisory Services account. Instead, it enforces a $8,000-a-year minimum fee, which becomes the real floor for smaller balances once the percentage schedule alone would charge less than that.
The minimum, in the firm’s own words
Choreo’s own Form ADV Part 2A brochure states no minimum account size, but does disclose a $8,000-a-year minimum fee, which becomes the real floor for smaller balances once the percentage schedule alone would charge less than that.
Minimum investment and what it would cost
| Program | Minimum investment | Annual fee at that minimum | Waivable? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Investment Advisory Services | No published minimum account size | $8,000-a-year minimum fee | N/A (fee floor, not account-size minimum) |

Choreo’s own fee schedule at other balances
| Account balance | Annual fee |
|---|---|
| $250,000 | $8,000 |
| $500,000 | $8,000 |
| $1,000,000 | $15,000 |
| $2,000,000 | $30,000 |
What else to know
Choreo does not state a hard account-size minimum. Instead: “we request (but do not require) new investment advisory clients to have investable assets of at least $1,000,000. This amount may be reduced in our discretion.” The $8,000 figure is a minimum annual fee, waivable at Choreo’s discretion.
What a larger account would cost
The minimum is only the entry point. On a $500,000 account, Choreo’s own published fee schedule runs $8,000 a year; see the full dollar breakdown from Choreo’s own fee disclosure across several account sizes. Read our full review of Choreo before you decide.

How our partner relationships workCompare an adviser match before you decide
Ask about the full fee, what it covers and how the adviser is paid. A match is an introduction, not a recommendation from Clear Money Guide.
- Free matching service
- No obligation to hire
The matching service is run by WiserAdvisor, an independent advisor-matching company. It opens on their site, asks for your ZIP code and a few questions, and matches you with 2 to 3 vetted advisors. It is free to you. WiserAdvisor states the service is built for portfolios of $250,000 and above. By submitting, you consent to emails, phone calls and text messages from WiserAdvisor and up to three advisors, so expect to be contacted. Advisers pay for the introduction. Clear Money Guide is paid when you complete the form, whether or not you ever hire anyone. There is no obligation to hire anyone.

Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, quoting directly from Choreo’s own current Form ADV Part 2A / wrap-fee brochure, with the source linked above. The annual-fee-at-the-minimum figure applies that same brochure’s own published fee schedule to the disclosed minimum dollar amount; any distinction we could not independently confirm this session is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified.
