The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A (July 28, 2026): “The maximum advisory fee that an IAR may charge is determined by CFI or the applicable TPMM and is set forth in the program fee schedule below: CLASSIC Plus Programs Advisory Fee Billing Method Account Custodian Minimum Account Value Maximum Advisory Fee Alpha (N1X) Monthly in Arrears Pershing LLC $25,000 2.25%”
Note: CRD 30833 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered through a live SEC IAPD lookup on September 28, 2026. Centaurus Financial, Inc. is a dually registered broker-dealer and investment adviser based in Anaheim, California, and it is the legal entity named in the brochure. The firm reports about $9.74 billion in regulatory assets under management. The priced figure is the maximum advisory fee for individual clients, whom the brochure lists among its clients, in its CLASSIC Plus fee-based programs.
The published maximum: 2.25% per year (The priced figure is the 2.25% maximum advisory fee the brochure lists for its core CLASSIC Plus programs (Alpha, Beta, ABJ, Omega, FlexUMA and Delta). Other programs carry different maximums: 1.50% for annuity and variable life management and 1.35% for Adviser-Directed accounts, and third-party money manager programs range from 1.00% to 3.00%, with the firm and the representative receiving a portion of that program fee. Transaction charges, custodial fees, transfer fees, internal fund fees, third-party manager fees and other administrative charges are separate from and in addition to the advisory fee, and a minimum account value administration fee may apply below the program minimum. None of those add-ons are in the figures below.).
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $5,625 | 2.25% |
| $500,000 | $11,250 | 2.25% |
| $1,000,000 | $22,500 | 2.25% |
| $2,000,000 | $45,000 | 2.25% |
Each balance is priced at the 2.25% maximum annual advisory fee applied to the whole account value. The brochure says fees may be charged on a flat or tiered schedule, but it publishes no account-size breakpoints, so a single flat maximum is used. It discloses no minimum annual dollar fee, only a minimum account value that varies by program, so no floor applies. These are ceiling figures, not typical charges, since advisory fees are negotiable below the maximum.
How this compares
