The published numbers

From the Form ADV Part 2A (July 17, 2026): “The maximum annual fee that your Advisor can charge for his/her services is 1.25% of the assets being advised or managed.”

Note: CRD 162200 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered through a live SEC IAPD lookup on September 28, 2026. IAPD lists the firm as Capital Analysts; the brochure names Capital Analysts, LLC, an affiliate of Lincoln Investment, and IAPD also shows earlier names including Capital Analysts, Inc. The brochure reports over $9 billion in advisory assets ($8.5 billion discretionary and $489 million non-discretionary) as of December 31, 2025. The priced figure is the maximum advisory fee a representative can charge individual clients in its advisor-managed and program accounts, not the fee any given client pays.

The published maximum: 1.25% per year (The priced figure is the 1.25% maximum Financial Advisor Fee only. In the firm’s wrap programs a separate Capital Analysts program sponsor and management fee is added on top, 0.25% to 0.60% of assets (or $250, or $150 for AssetBuilder, if greater) in the wrap brochure, bringing the stated maximum total to between 1.50% and 1.85%. Older non-wrap Advisor Managed Model Portfolio and Client Custom Portfolio accounts at Pershing also carry a Capital Analysts administrative fee, 0.15% (minimum $200) on the first $500,000 stepping down to 0.08% above $2 million, which the brochure marks closed to new accounts. Custodian charges, mutual fund surcharges and fund expenses are separate. None of those are reflected in the figures below.).

What you would pay

Account balanceAnnual fee (dollars)Effective rate
$250,000$3,1251.25%
$500,000$6,2501.25%
$1,000,000$12,5001.25%
$2,000,000$25,0001.25%

Capital Analysts publishes a maximum annual Financial Advisor Fee of 1.25% of assets rather than a tiered schedule, so each balance is priced at that maximum. The brochure discloses no minimum annual dollar fee on the advisor fee, so no floor applies to the priced figure, though the program sponsor fee carries its own $250 minimum. These are ceiling figures for the advisor component only, not typical or all-in charges.

How this compares

Our benchmark of published adviser fee schedules puts the weighted median annual cost near $2,000 to $2,500 on $250,000 (the benchmark). At $500,000, Capital Analysts’s maximum Financial Advisor Fee of 1.25% runs up to $6,250 a year, before program sponsor fees.
