Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: AmeriServ Wealth Advisors discloses a tiered schedule starting at 1.00% in its Form ADV Part 2A (March 16, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $5,000 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A (March 16, 2026): “First $1 million dollars 1.00% Next $2 million dollars 0.80% Next $2 million dollars 0.60% Over $5 million dollars 0.40%”
Note: CRD 105846 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered through a live SEC IAPD lookup on September 28, 2026. AmeriServ Wealth Advisors, Inc. is the registered adviser, a wholly owned subsidiary of AmeriServ Financial Bank of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and the public record also lists West Chester Capital Advisors as another name. The firm reports about $1.11 billion in regulatory assets under management. The priced figure is the standard Portfolio Management Services schedule, which covers the individuals and high net worth individuals the brochure lists among its clients.
- $0-$1,000,000: 1.00%
- $1,000,000-$3,000,000: 0.80%
- $3,000,000-$5,000,000: 0.60%
- $5,000,000 and above: 0.40%
The schedule is the Portfolio Management Services fee for all accounts other than fixed income only accounts. The brochure lists a separate, lower schedule for fixed income only accounts, which is not priced here. Clients also pay the fees and expenses charged by custodians and broker dealers, and additional custodian fees apply where the firm’s bank affiliate serves as qualified custodian. Fund level expenses are separate from the advisory fee. The brochure lists tax preparation, asset transfer and registration charges, court accounting fees, specialty asset administration fees and disbursement charges as further items that are separate and distinct from the advisory fee. None of those add-ons are in the figures below.
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $2,500 | 1.00% |
| $500,000 | $5,000 | 1.00% |
| $1,000,000 | $10,000 | 1.00% |
| $2,000,000 | $18,000 | 0.90% |
Each balance is priced on the marginal reading, the same way the brochure’s own $6 million example stacks its bands: the first $1 million at 1.00%, the next $2 million at 0.80%, the next $2 million at 0.60% and anything above $5 million at 0.40%. The brochure discloses no minimum annual dollar fee, so no floor applies, although it asks for $250,000 of assets under management to open an account and says that minimum is negotiable. The brochure says the firm may negotiate alternative fees, so these figures are the published schedule, not a guaranteed charge.
How this compares
