What Ally Invest Robo Portfolios’ own fee schedule charges
Ally Invest Advisors LLC also offers a separately priced Personal Advice service (a $100,000 minimum household relationship, tiered 0.85%/0.80%/0.75%) and a still-limited-rollout Invest Simply service (no advisory fee); this page prices the firm’s Robo Portfolios only, the product named in the roster candidate.
“1. Robo Portfolios. The minimum initial deposit for each account is $100. There are no advisory fees charged for the Cash-Enhanced Robo Portfolios. The annual advisory fee rate for Market-Focused Robo Portfolios is 0.30%. The fees are calculated daily by multiplying the account’s closing balance by the annual advisory fee rate and then dividing by 365.”
Ally’s Robo Portfolios come in two versions the client chooses between: Cash-Enhanced (0% advisory fee) and Market-Focused (a flat 0.30% annual rate, non-negotiable per the brochure). dollar_at uses the Market-Focused rate, since it is the version that carries an actual dollar fee; balance x 0.003 at each of the four balances.
| Account balance | Annual fee |
|---|---|
| $250,000 | $750 |
| $500,000 | $1,500 |
| $1,000,000 | $3,000 |
| $2,000,000 | $6,000 |

Registration
Ally Invest Advisors LLC is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #170301, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD).
This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity). For the fiduciary-standard question itself, see the fiduciary-status page for Ally Invest Robo Portfolios.
What it costs to leave
Ally Invest Advisors LLC’s Form ADV Part 2A lets you terminate with 30 days’ written notice, but for Robo Portfolios clients specifically, a full liquidation-and-transfer request through the digital platform stops the advisory fee within three business days. Ally does not custody assets itself; its brochure names Apex Clearing Corporation as the qualified custodian, with Ally Invest Securities LLC as introducing broker. The ADV states no dollar figure of its own and points to Ally’s own published fee page instead, which states a $50 ACAT transfer-out fee.
