Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Sikich Financial is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #142640, listed as ACTIVE in the SEC’s IAPD firm summary, checked October 25, 2026). Per its own current fee brochure, a $500,000 account would run $6,250 a year on its Advisor Managed Portfolios schedule (its Wrap, WMP-UMA and SMA program schedule starts at 2.00%, which is $10,000 at $500,000). Already a client and thinking about leaving? Budget $50 if Schwab custodies your account. This review covers what its own fee brochure and current SEC registration confirm today; it does not assess fiduciary status.

What Sikich Financial’s own fee schedule charges
The legal entity is Sikich Capital Management LLC, doing business as Sikich Financial, of Springfield, Illinois (its SEC record also lists Sikich Retirement Plan Services LLC as another name), and it is the wealth advisory arm of the Sikich accounting and advisory group. The priced figure is the advisor-managed schedule for individual clients, who the brochure lists among its client types with a suggested minimum portfolio of $250,000 that the firm may waive.
“The fee schedule for the WMP-AMP Program is as follows: Portfolio Value Annual Fee (%) On the first $1,000,000 1.25% On the next $1,000,000 0.90% On the next $3,000,000 0.70% On the next $5,000,000 0.60% On the next $10,000,000 0.55% On all amounts thereafter 0.40%”
Each balance is priced by stacking the bands, since the brochure words the schedule as a rate on the first $1,000,000, on the next $1,000,000 and so on. That prices $1,000,000 at 1.25% and $2,000,000 at 1.25% on the first $1,000,000 plus 0.90% on the second. The brochure says a minimum quarterly fee is imposed in some cases but gives no dollar amount, so no floor is applied. Annual fees are negotiated with each client, and clients with similar assets may pay significantly higher or lower fees, so the schedule is a published standard and not a guaranteed charge. Grandfathered schedules from acquired firms may differ.
The table below is the firm’s own advisory fee schedule. This table prices only the Advisor Managed Portfolios schedule. The same brochure lists a Wrap, WMP-UMA and SMA schedule of 2.00% on the first $1,000,000, whose fee covers program fees including fees charged by investment managers, and an SEI Sponsored Wrap Fee Program at 1.25% annually.
| Account balance | Annual fee |
|---|---|
| $250,000 | $3,125 |
| $500,000 | $6,250 |
| $1,000,000 | $12,500 |
| $2,000,000 | $21,500 |

Registration
Sikich Financial is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #142640, listed as ACTIVE in the SEC’s IAPD firm summary, checked October 25, 2026).
This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity).
What it costs to leave
Sikich Financial’s Form ADV Part 2A states “Either the client’s authorized representative or Sikich Financial may terminate the Agreement with 30 days written notice to the other party.” Sikich Financial names two possible custodians in its brochure, with no single default. Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.’s own published fee schedule states “Full transfer (out) of assets $50 per account”. Fidelity (National Financial Services) discloses no comparable line item (an honest gap).
The general mechanics of switching financial advisors and a dated termination letter apply regardless of firm.

Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, drawing directly on Sikich Financial’s own current fee brochure, cited in Sources below, and a fresh SEC IAPD registration check run the same day. Where exit-fee facts are cited, they trace to the named custodian’s own published schedule. Any fact we could not independently confirm is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified.
