What Public Advisors’ own fee schedule charges
The registrant is Public Advisors LLC, which IAPD also lists as Public.com and Open to the Public Advisors. The brochure reports $25,350,835 in client assets managed on a discretionary basis as of March 28, 2026. The priced schedule is the tiered Management Fee for its Treasury Account; the firm’s Direct Indexing account is charged a flat 0.19% and its Generated Assets account a flat 0.49%, and neither is priced here.
“Tier Treasury Account Portfolio Value Annual Management Fee 1 The first $25,000 0.29% 2 The next $75,000, up to $100,000 0.24% 3 The next $900,000, up to $1,000,000 0.19% 4 The next $4 million, up to $5,000,000 0.14% 5 Assets over $5,000,000 0.09%”
The Treasury Account schedule is marginal, so each rate applies only to the slice of the balance inside its band. For example, a $500,000 balance pays 0.29% on the first $25,000, 0.24% on the next $75,000 and 0.19% on the remaining $400,000. Each result lands on a half dollar and is rounded up to the next whole dollar. The brochure discloses no minimum annual fee for the Treasury Account, though it requires $1,000 to open and maintain one.
The table below is the firm’s own advisory fee schedule. Fund expenses, custodian charges and any third-party manager or platform fees are generally separate from an advisory fee like this one; Item 5 of the brochure lists what applies to a given account.
| Account balance | Annual fee |
|---|---|
| $250,000 | $538 |
| $500,000 | $1,013 |
| $1,000,000 | $1,963 |
| $2,000,000 | $3,363 |
These figures come directly from Public Advisors’ own current fee brochure, cited in Sources below.
Registration
Public Advisors LLC is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #318234, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD).
This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity).
What it costs to leave
Public Advisors LLC’s Form ADV Part 2A states “If you wish to transfer your Account or specific security positions to another broker, your Fractional Securities must be liquidated and the cash proceeds may be transferred, which may result in tax consequences, investment gain or loss, and the assessment of commission charges.” Public Advisors LLC names exactly one custodian in its brochure: Apex Clearing Corporation. Public Investing, Inc.’s own published fee schedule states “ACAT transfers into and out of your account Incoming ACAT: $0 Outgoing ACAT: $100”
The general mechanics of switching financial advisors and a dated termination letter apply regardless of firm.

Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, drawing directly on Public Advisors’ own current fee brochure, cited in Sources below, and a fresh SEC IAPD registration check run the same day. Where exit-fee facts are cited, they trace to the named custodian’s own published schedule. Any fact we could not independently confirm is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified. Nothing here is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading Public Advisors’ own Form ADV Part 2A and Form CRS.
