Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Prime Capital Financial discloses a maximum, individually negotiated rate of 2.5% in its Form ADV Part 2A (June 1, 2026). Converted to dollars, that runs $12,500 a year on a $500,000 account; see the full table below for $250,000, $1 million and $2 million.
The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A (June 1, 2026): “fees for asset management services, excluding such services pursuant to a Performance-Based Advisory Services Agreement, most often range between 1.00% and 1.50%, but will not be below 0.25% or above 2.50% of the assets held in the account. Fees charged for our asset management services are negotiable based on the investment adviser representative providing the services, the type of client, the complexity of the client’s situation, the composition of the client’s account (i.e., equities versus mutual funds), the level of trading activity, the potential for additional account deposits, the relationship of the client with the investment adviser representative, and the total amount of assets under management for the client.”
Note: CRD 288712 was confirmed ACTIVE and SEC registered through a live SEC IAPD lookup on September 28, 2026. IAPD lists the primary business name as Prime Capital Financial, while the brochure cover still names Prime Capital Investment Advisors, LLC; the firm also operates under other names such as Prime Capital Wealth Management. The firm reports about $39.1 billion in regulatory assets under management. The priced figure is the stated maximum for its standard asset management program for individual clients.
The published maximum: 2.5% per year (The priced figure is the 2.50% ceiling on the firm’s asset management fee (its Wrap Fee Management Program). The brochure says fees typically run 1.00% to 1.50%, so the ceiling is well above what most clients pay. Third-party money manager arrangements are priced separately (the portion Prime Capital retains will not exceed 1.50%, and the money manager’s overall fee, which includes that portion, will generally exceed 1.50%), and sub-advisory arrangements carry a Prime Capital advisory fee of up to 1.85%, and alternative investments carry their own management or performance fees on top of the advisory fee. None of those add-ons are reflected in the figures below.).
What you would pay
| Account balance | Annual fee (dollars) | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| $250,000 | $6,250 | 2.50% |
| $500,000 | $12,500 | 2.50% |
| $1,000,000 | $25,000 | 2.50% |
| $2,000,000 | $50,000 | 2.50% |
Prime Capital publishes a stated maximum annual asset management fee of 2.50% of account assets rather than a tiered schedule, so each balance is priced at that maximum. The brochure discloses no minimum annual dollar fee for this program, so no floor applies. These are ceiling figures, not typical charges.
How this compares
Our benchmark of published adviser fee schedules puts the weighted median annual cost near $2,000 to $2,500 on $250,000 (the benchmark). At $500,000, Prime Capital Financial’s own published maximum rate runs up to $12,500 a year.
