The published numbers
From the Form ADV Part 2A (March 29, 2026): “The fee is based on a percentage of the customer’s managed assets, ranging up to 1.5%, depending on the size of the account. The customer is assessed the same fee regardless of the payment made to the IAR. Fees are typically charged quarterly, in advance, and are based upon the market value of the account on the last day of the appropriate period. All fees are deducted from the customer’s account. AFA’s own brochure states it managed approximately $117,559,871 on a non-discretionary basis as of December 31, 2025, and does not manage any assets on a discretionary basis as of the date of the brochure. The priced schedule applies to AFA’s FMAX Fund Strategist Portfolio and Allstate Guided UMA programs, which publish an identical account-size fee table; AFA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allstate Insurance Company operating through a captive network of Investment Advisory Representatives who are dually registered with the affiliated broker-dealer Allstate Financial Services, LLC.
