Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 28, 2026. Quick answer: Sanctuary Wealth is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #226606, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD). Per its own current fee brochure, a $500,000 account would run up to $13,750 a year (the published maximum, which the firm says is negotiable) under its published fee schedule. Already a client and thinking about leaving? Budget $50 at Schwab, or $150 at Pershing (“Account Termination”), depending on your custodian. This review covers what its fee brochure and current SEC registration confirm today; this firm also has a fiduciary-status page and minimum-investment page on this site.

What Sanctuary Wealth’s own fee schedule charges
The reports.adviserinfo.sec.gov URL resolves only to the Part 1A registration filing; the actual Firm Brochure (04/2025) and companion Wrap Fee Program Brochure (03/2025) were located on Sanctuary Wealth’s own disclosures page; both state the identical 2.75% firm-wide ceiling. Item 4 states total client AUM ~$27.696 billion as of 12/31/2024, which conflicts with the roster’s $34.9B figure; flagged, not resolved.
“Fees for advisory services are generally calculated as a percentage of the total market value of the managed assets. Sanctuary Advisors offers its investment advisory services through a network of IARs that each create a fee schedule for accounts primarily serviced by such IAR, which will be provided to clients. In no event shall the maximum fee exceed 2.75% for the total portfolio assets committed to the IAR. Fees are negotiated on an individual basis at the time of the engagement for such services.”
Sanctuary Advisors’ network of IARs each set their own fee schedule within a firm-wide ceiling the brochure states explicitly may ‘in no event’ exceed 2.75% of committed portfolio assets. No dollar minimum fee is stated.
| Account balance | Annual fee |

| $250,000 | $6,875 |
| $500,000 | $13,750 |
| $1,000,000 | $27,500 |
| $2,000,000 | $55,000 |

Registration
Sanctuary Advisors, LLC is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #226606, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD).
This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity). For the fiduciary-standard question itself, see the fiduciary-status page for Sanctuary Wealth.
What it costs to leave
Sanctuary Advisors, LLC’s Form ADV Part 2A states “For the calendar month or quarter in which an advisory agreement is terminated, any paid but unearned fees will be promptly refunded to the client based on the number of days that the account was managed, and any fees du.” Sanctuary Advisors, LLC names 5 possible custodians in its brochure, with no single default. Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.’s own published fee schedule states “Full transfer (out) of assets: $50 per account.” Pershing LLC / Pershing Advisor Services’s own published fee schedule states “Account Termination $150.00 per account.” Fidelity and Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions disclose no comparable line item (an honest gap).
A dedicated how-to-leave page for Sanctuary Wealth covers the exit costs in full; the general mechanics of switching financial advisors and a dated termination letter apply regardless of firm.

Methodology. This page was built September 28, 2026, drawing directly on Sanctuary Wealth’s own current fee brochure, linked above, and a fresh SEC IAPD registration check run the same day. As of September 28, 2026, this site publishes a fiduciary-status page and a minimum-investment page for Sanctuary Wealth; where the exit-fee page already exists it is linked above and drawn from that already-sourced page. Any fact we could not independently confirm is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified. Nothing here is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading Sanctuary Wealth’s own Form ADV Part 2A and Form CRS.
