What UMB Private Wealth Management’s own fee schedule charges

UMBPWM states its Banded Asset Management Fee Schedule applies to all household account balances, including accounts below its stated account minimum where the firm has exercised discretion to waive it, and separately applies a $5,000 minimum household fee where the calculated advisory fee would otherwise fall below that amount.

“Banded Asset Management Fee Schedule: Household Market Value / Fee %: Under $1 Million 1.25%; $1-3 Million 1.15%; $3-5 Million 1.00%; $5-10 Million 0.80%; $10-15 Million 0.70%; $15-25 Million 0.60%; $25-50 Million 0.55%; Over $50 Million 0.50%. Minimum Household Fee $5,000. UMBPWM will apply the minimum household fee of $5,000 where the calculated advisory fee would otherwise fall below that amount.”

UMBPWM uses a whole-balance breakpoint schedule: the single rate for your household’s bracket applies to the entire balance. At $250,000 (under $1 million, 1.25% = 3,125) the $5,000 minimum household fee dominates and applies instead; at $500,000 (1.25% = 6,250) the schedule amount exceeds the minimum and applies; at $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 the household falls in the ‘$1-3 Million’ bracket at 1.15% (11,500 and 23,000).

Registration

UMB Private Wealth Management, LLC is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #306374, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD).

This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity). A standalone fiduciary-status page for UMB Private Wealth Management has not been published on this site yet.

What it costs to leave

UMB Private Wealth Management does not yet have a dedicated exit-fee page on this site. The general mechanics of switching financial advisors and a dated termination letter apply regardless of firm.
