What Bahl & Gaynor’s own fee schedule charges

“The following schedule represents the standard fee schedule for High Net Worth (HNW) clients and institutional clients that are individually managed utilizing Bahl & Gaynor’s Separately Managed Accounts strategies: Assets Under Management: 1% on first $1 million, .85% on next $2 million, .65% on next $2 million, .5% on amounts over $5 million. B&G’s minimum account fee is $10,000 which may, at the firm’s discretion, be waived or discounted.”

B&G’s schedule is a marginal, bracket-style schedule computed from $0 (First $1 million 1.00%; Next $2 million 0.85%; Next $2 million 0.65%; Amounts over $5 million 0.50%), with a stated $10,000 minimum account fee: at $250,000 and $500,000 the First $1 million bracket’s 1.00% rate (2,500 and 5,000) is below the floor, so the floor applies; at $1,000,000, 1,000,000 x 0.01 = $10,000, exactly matching the floor; at $2,000,000, the first $1,000,000 contributes $10,000 and the remaining $1,000,000 falls in the Next $2 million bracket at 0.85% ($8,500), for $10,000 + $8,500 = $18,500.

Registration

Bahl & Gaynor LLC is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser (CRD #106139, confirmed ACTIVE this session via SEC IAPD).

This is a registration confirmation only, not a fiduciary-standard verdict (a registered investment adviser can still be a dual registrant with a broker-dealer, which changes which standard applies in each capacity). For the fiduciary-standard question itself, see the fiduciary-status page for Bahl & Gaynor.

What it costs to leave

Bahl & Gaynor does not yet have a dedicated exit-fee page on this site. The general mechanics of switching financial advisors and a dated termination letter apply regardless of firm.
