Guides › Financial Advisor Fees
Updated September 18, 2026. Quick answer: $25,000 for Advisor, Advisor Guided, SELECT, Income-Focused, Genesis, Shepherd, Impact and Shield. Thrivent’s own Form ADV Part 2A brochure states this figure directly, and the brochure does not offer a general waiver for it. At that minimum, Thrivent’s own published maximum works out to $500 a year.
The minimum, in the firm’s own words
“Minimum Account Size $25,000 … The minimum initial investment amount for each program is provided in the “Managed Accounts Program Overview” chart found in “Item 4-Services, Fees and Compensation-Program Overview” above.”
On waivability: “In some instances, Financial Advisors may set higher minimum investment requirements for their clients than listed in this Brochure.”
Minimum investment and what it would cost
| Program | Minimum investment | Maximum annual fee at that minimum | Waivable? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Advisor, Advisor Guided, SELECT, Income-Focused, Genesis, Shepherd, Impact and Shield | $25,000 | $500 | No stated waiver |

$25,000 falls in Thrivent’s lowest whole-balance breakpoint bracket (up to $99,999 at a 2.00% maximum Program Fee): $25,000 x 2.00% = $500.
Thrivent’s own maximum fee at other balances
| Account balance | Maximum annual fee |
|---|---|
| $250,000 | $4,250 |
| $500,000 | $7,750 |
| $1,000,000 | $14,500 |
| $2,000,000 | $29,000 |
What else to know
Two other Thrivent programs, Separately Managed Accounts and Unified Managed Accounts, carry higher minimums of $100,000 to $250,000.
What a larger account would cost
The minimum is only the entry point. On a $500,000 account, Thrivent’s own published maximum runs $7,750 a year; see the full dollar breakdown from Thrivent’s own fee disclosure across several account sizes.

Methodology. This page was built September 18, 2026, quoting directly from Thrivent’s own current Form ADV Part 2A / wrap-fee brochure, with the source linked above. The annual-fee-at-the-minimum figure applies that same brochure’s own published fee schedule to the disclosed minimum dollar amount; any distinction we could not independently confirm this session is named as an honest gap rather than presented as verified. Nothing here is personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the firm’s own Form ADV Part 2A.
