If you’d rather not track this yourself
Bizee’s registered-agent and compliance service includes a due-date reminder and a filing option for Connecticut’s report. State filing fees are separate.
Bizee’s BBB rating, verified directly against BBB’s own listing on September 2, 2026: a C, not accredited. BBB’s own finding: the business “has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints,” with 83 complaints filed. Most complaints we found described difficulty canceling recurring services and strict refund policies, worth knowing before you hand over a card for the year-two renewal. Check BBB’s current listing yourself before you buy; a rating we didn’t just verify is worse than none.

Whether Connecticut requires one, and how often
Connecticut requires LLCs to file an annual report every year. $80.
When it’s due
Fixed annual window: after January 1 and before April 1 of the year following the calendar year of formation (not anniversary-month based since 2018). (Conn. Gen. Stat. §34-247k)
What it costs
$80.
What happens if you miss it
No late fee found, the Secretary of the State’s own FAQ explicitly states there is none.
What eventually happens if it stays unfiled: May be administratively dissolved by forfeiture if more than one year in default of its annual report filing obligation. (Conn. Gen. Stat. §§33-890, 34-267g) “A business entity that has not filed its annual report for more than one year may be dissolved by forfeiture”

What this page does not answer
State income tax, franchise tax and federal (IRS) filing obligations are separate from this report and follow their own deadlines and rules. This page does not source those. We have the state periodic-report answer at primary and nothing else.
The annual/biennial report fee above is a recurring cost of keeping the LLC active, separate from what it cost to form. See what an LLC costs in Connecticut for the full cost picture.
