Updated September 4, 2026. Quick answer: Maryland requires a annual report; Annual Report due on or before April 15 each year (60-day extension available to June 15, filed online).
If you’d rather not track this yourself
Bizee’s registered-agent and compliance service includes a due-date reminder and a filing option for Maryland’s report. State filing fees are separate.
Bizee’s BBB rating, verified directly against BBB’s own listing on September 2, 2026: a C, not accredited. BBB’s own finding: the business “has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints,” with 83 complaints filed. Most complaints we found described difficulty canceling recurring services and strict refund policies, worth knowing before you hand over a card for the year-two renewal. Check BBB’s current listing yourself before you buy; a rating we didn’t just verify is worse than none.

Whether Maryland requires one, and how often
Maryland requires LLCs to file an annual report every year. $300.
When it’s due
Annual Report due on or before April 15 each year (60-day extension available to June 15, filed online).
What it costs
$300.
What happens if you miss it
UNVERIFIED, SDAT references loss of ‘Good Standing’ but no specific dollar/percentage late-filing penalty for the Annual Report itself was found on primary source (a 1/10%-plus-interest figure applies to a related but separate Business Personal Property Return, not confirmed as applying here).
What eventually happens if it stays unfiled: Missing one annual report puts the LLC on the Comptroller’s certified list; forfeiture proclamation issued immediately after September 30 of the following year, forfeiting the right to do business without proceedings of any kind. (Md. Code, Corps. & Ass’ns §4A-911)

What this page does not answer
State income tax, franchise tax and federal (IRS) filing obligations are separate from this report and follow their own deadlines and rules. This page does not source those. We have the state periodic-report answer at primary and nothing else.
The annual/biennial report fee above is a recurring cost of keeping the LLC active, separate from what it cost to form. See what an LLC costs in Maryland for the full cost picture.
