Alaska LLC Annual Report

Updated September 4, 2026. Quick answer: Alaska requires a biennial report; Filing-year parity matches the LLC’s year of organization (odd/odd, even/even); report due before January 2 of the filing year, delinquent if not filed before February 1.

If you’d rather not track this yourself

Bizee’s registered-agent and compliance service includes a due-date reminder and a filing option for Alaska’s report. State filing fees are separate.

Bizee’s BBB rating, verified directly against BBB’s own listing on September 2, 2026: a C, not accredited. BBB’s own finding: the business “has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints,” with 83 complaints filed. Most complaints we found described difficulty canceling recurring services and strict refund policies, worth knowing before you hand over a card for the year-two renewal. Check BBB’s current listing yourself before you buy; a rating we didn’t just verify is worse than none.

Whether Alaska requires one, and how often

Alaska requires LLCs to file a biennial report every two years (biennially). Biennial report.

When it’s due

Filing-year parity matches the LLC’s year of organization (odd/odd, even/even); report due before January 2 of the filing year, delinquent if not filed before February 1. (AS 10.50.760) Not independently re-fetched on a .gov host this session (commerce.alaska.gov / akleg.gov both 403’d automated fetch); statute-mirror sourced.

What it costs

Biennial report (source, read 2026-08-06).

What happens if you miss it

$37.50 late fee added to the $100 base fee (total $137.50) if filed on/after Feb 2.

What eventually happens if it stays unfiled: UNVERIFIED exact LLC statute citation for Alaska administrative dissolution; secondary summary suggests ~6 months delinquent plus a 60-day cure notice, but the analogous corporation statute (AS 10.06.633) is not the LLC chapter and the LLC-specific section was not confirmed this session.

Where to file

File at https://www.commerce.alaska.gov/cbp/main/. Alaska’s Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing online portal; not independently re-fetched this session (403).

What this page does not answer

State income tax, franchise tax and federal (IRS) filing obligations are separate from this report and follow their own deadlines and rules. This page does not source those. We have the state periodic-report answer at primary and nothing else.

The annual/biennial report fee above is a recurring cost of keeping the LLC active, separate from what it cost to form. See what an LLC costs in Alaska for the full cost picture.
