Paid-search and affiliate click matching
When a visitor uses our solar-kit matcher and chooses to leave Clear Money Guide for A1 SolarStore, we may record a pseudonymous 20-character click reference together with advertising click identifiers (such as GCLID, GBRAID, or WBRAID), UTM or Google Ads ValueTrack campaign fields, the broad matcher result, the destination host and path, and operational timestamps or retry counts. The matcher ledger does not store the visitor’s name, email address, phone number, street address, free-form answers, raw referrer, full landing URL, raw IP address, or user agent. An IP-derived value may be processed temporarily to limit automated abuse, but the raw IP address is not stored in this ledger.
We use this limited record to measure paid-search performance, diagnose the matcher and outbound handoff, attribute an A1 SolarStore purchase to the correct Clear Money Guide visit, reconcile affiliate commissions, and, where eligible, manually report an offline purchase conversion to Google Ads. While a submission is pending delivery, your details are stored encrypted; after successful delivery they are purged from our systems within a short retention window, with only non-identifying reference codes kept for reconciliation. We do not sell this information or use it for any other purpose.
