Updated August 7, 2026. Quick answer: every calculator below is free to embed on your own site. Copy one line of HTML; the widget loads in a self-contained iframe with no key, no tracking pixel and no charge. The only condition is the attribution link each widget already carries.
Every calculator and dataset below is free to put on your own site. There is no key, no script tag, no tracking pixel and no charge. You copy one line of HTML and the widget loads in an iframe, self-contained.
The one thing we ask is the one thing that is built in: each widget carries a link back to the page it came from. That link is how this works for us, so it is on by default and the embed terms require it stay. Everything else is yours to place, size and style as you like.
How to embed anything on this page
Paste the snippet into an HTML block, a custom-HTML widget, or any page template that accepts raw HTML. Adjust height to taste; the widgets are responsive and follow your visitors’ light or dark mode automatically. They make no external requests beyond loading themselves.

Terms, in plain words
- Free, commercially too. Client sites, member portals, intranets, all fine.
- Attribution is required. Keep the footer link visible. Do not frame the widget so the link is cropped, and do not overlay it.
- The underlying data is CC BY 4.0. If you would rather build your own presentation from the numbers, take the data instead and credit us with a link. See our datasets.
- Do not imply we endorse you. Embedding a tool is not a partnership, a certification or a recommendation.
- We update the tools. Figures change when the law or the underlying data changes; an embedded widget always shows the current version, which is the point of embedding rather than copying.
- No warranty, and none of this is advice. These are educational calculators. They are not legal, tax or investment advice, and results depend entirely on the inputs you or your readers supply.
If a widget breaks, gives a result you cannot reproduce, or you want one that does not exist yet, tell us on the corrections page. Requests from people actually using these get built first.
